Change has always been a constant. From subatomic particles that our bodies replacing daily to more large-scale cosmological events, we’ve seen that nature never lies still. Embracing the dynamism for ourselves, I pose the question to you - do you act and drive change or react to the changes around you?
If you feel like a change is coming, I invite you to an opportunity to challenge yourself, collaborate with India’s best minds and be open to changing yourself, personally and professionally. I invite you to apply for the 5th cohort for the PGP TBM at Masters’ Union. Here’s all you need to know about the PGP TBM programme, in three minutes.
What’s new with Masters’ Union?
Our philosophy of ‘learning business by running business’ is evolving! With each iteration, we’ve seen continual validation by faculty, students, recruiters and more!
We’ve welcomed a vast multitude of CXOs and Masters across the board over the last few months. From learning about the Arts of Communication with Professor Mihir Mankad to engaging with the ex-CKO of NASA, Dr. Edward Rogers, our students gain direct instruction from some of the best in the business.
Additionally, our students get multiple chances across the week to engage with these stalwarts from diverse backgrounds, through our distinctive CXO and Series C sessions, held with the leadership at Masters’ Union. We’ve recently hosted Shashank Mehta - Founder & CEO at TheWholeTruth, Deep Kalra - Founder and Chairman at MakeMyTrip, Akash Gupta - Founder & CEO at Zypp Electric, Alex Dwek - COO at NasDaily, Brij Bhushan - Co Founder at Magicpin, Vikrant Vohra - CEO of Pizza Hut and many more!
We’ve also seen our students benefit greatly from our ‘outclass experiences’, which recently culminated for our third cohort with the The Startup Challenge. A six-month journey of the Venture Initiation Programme drew to a close, when a select few startups from Masters’ Union got an opportunity to pitch directly to an audience of 100+ VCs from Accel, Matrix Partners India, Sequoia Capital, Agility Ventures, Antler and more!
Our fourth cohort, which began their programme in June, also successfully completed their dropshipping business challenge, where we saw students pair up in teams to create brands, setup revenue streams and compete with each other on different business metrics! We even saw a company raise INR 5 lakhs plus, within just six weeks!
With the cohort now passing through the bulk of the programme, they are seamlessly combining their academic projects, placement preparation and outclass business challenges. With options from the Consulting Garage, Content Creator Challenge to In-the-Wild consulting challenges, I hope you see the ability to customize your learning according to your interests and preferences.
The PGP TBM Application Process
Here’s your all-in-one admissions guide to becoming a student in our upcoming cohort. Here’s what you’ll need to do:
Create your account with Masters’ Union, verify yourself and get ready to proceed with the PGP TBM application form.
Complete your application online, which would require you to fill in your details such as personal details, educational qualifications/details, professional details as well as mark out your scholarship preferences.
Complete all application formalities by completing the form and submitting the application fees.
In this admissions cycle, all applicants are required to take our internal MUBAAT evaluation, which is conducted on the weekend after the admissions deadline (for Round 1, it will be held on the 16/17th of December).
You’ll find the communication evaluation in the MUBAAT, rather than in the application form. The communication evaluation would require you to submit one text based answer and two video based answers, within the examination itself. Instructions and slot booking opens after the completion of the admissions deadline.
Unlike CAT, MUBAAT is designed such that one cannot really prepare for it. We do not want that you enroll in expensive test prep coaching courses to prepare. The test is interactive and it evaluates you holistically, including your academic, non-academic and professional standing.
Once you’ve completed your MUBAAT examination, the admissions committee will shortlist candidates to move to the interview round, where interviews will be conducted by our Masters, alumni and leadership.
Based on your interview performance, the admissions committee reconvenes for your final decision. A combination of your academic ability, professional experience, communication skills and performance in the interview is considered.
A final decision is then declared, with the outcomes being an acceptance, a waitlist or a rejection.
Accepted students are given a period of 7-14 days to confirm their seat for the PGP TBM programme and move ahead to our exclusive Discord server for their pre-MBA engagement and Term 0.
We do not keep any ranked waitlist. The admissions committee reconvenes periodically to evaluate the candidates and take calls based on the cohort composition goals for the cohort.
Students who are rejected cannot reapply in future rounds, however, they are welcome to reapply in the following academic year.
And that’s a wrap! I hope we’ve provided you better fillings in your sandwich than Subway. We look forward to getting to know you better through your completed applications! The deadline for Round 1 of admissions is on the 10th of December, 2023. Apply today!
Great briefing! Eagerly waiting for the Round-1 Final shortlist results.
